We are committed to providing mediation space to enable people to amicably come to a resolution of their disputes, rather than enlisting the assistance of the court process.
We can often provide meeting spaces outside the normal confines of 9 - 5 pm, to assist people who want to mediate but are constrained by the demands of their employment or child care. We can also provide meeting spaces at the weekend.
We aim to be able to see clients as soon as possible, especially in emergency situations. We endeavor to provide court certification as soon as possible after this is requested.

Denise Farran
Family Mediation North West is managed by Denise.
Denise is a dual qualified solicitor and barrister and has practised law in the areas of family, personal injury, employment, civil and immigration law. Denise qualified as a family mediator in 2013 and is accredited with the Family Mediation Council.
Denise was a senior lecturer in law at Manchester Metropolitan University for 13 years and was the course leader for family law on the LLB degree.
In the course of her career Denise has worked with and trained many legal professionals based in the North West and has collaborated with many related professionals, such as barristers, accountants and pension specialists.
Denise now practices solely as a mediator and is committed to providing families with amicable and peaceful alternatives to avoid the high conflict and cost of contested legal proceedings.
Our Location in North Wales
Based in the beautiful coastal town of Llandudno, Family Mediation North West provides professional, confidential mediation services to families across North Wales. We offer a welcoming space where separating couples can discuss arrangements for children, finances, and property in a supportive environment. With accredited mediators experienced in helping families communicate and reach fair agreements, we make the process smoother and less stressful for everyone involved.
While we are based in Llandudno, we proudly serve clients throughout North Wales, including Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Prestatyn, Conwy, Bangor, and Wrexham. We also serve clients in the North West of England and offer face to face meetings in Manchester and Macclesfield.
We also offer flexible online mediation sessions, making it easy to access expert support wherever you are. Our goal is to help families across the region resolve disputes amicably and move forward with confidence and clarity.
